my essay topic
I decided to write about Porphyria's Lover because I thought that he was obsessed with her and I wanted to discuss how his obsession drives him to murder Porphyria and then how his mind reacts to what he's done. It's like he's finally achieved what he's always wanted and is so pleased with himself. It's sort of a thought in progress but I thought it was interesting. Any thoughts?

i didn't know we could choose what we wrote on. the assignment sheet says to write on "Jenny". Do you know if we are supposed to post our actually assignment on the blog? Or just what we wrote on, etc?
While you are free to choose whether to write on "Jenny" or on "Porphyria's Lover," I would encourage you to write about Rossetti's poem. Because we haven't yet discussed it in class, you may find that you have more freedom to explore your own thoughts about it. -LS
