Choosing which poem to discuss in your post

Just to reiterate, in case you haven't followed the thread of comments in response to Alison's query (below): you are free to write about "Porpyria's Lover" or "Jenny," but I would encourage you to write about the latter. Because we haven't yet discussed Rossetti's poem in class, writing about it before we meet tomorrow will give you an opportunity to explore your own thoughts as they develop in your first reading of the poem. I am not concerned that you'll get something "wrong" in your reading; I'm much more interested in seeing how you approach a new text. —LS
